Warranty card
If you use the website to register a warranty card you are required to fill in a form. With this form Intergas Heating processes the following personal data received from you:
- Boiler Type
- Serial Number
- Name
- Address (2 lines)
- City
- Postal Code
- Date of installation
- E-mail address
- Installer Company information
Intergas Heating needs to process this personal data to be able to answer your questions regarding the use or operation of your boiler/heater quickly and accurately.
Receive literature by post form
If you would like to receive any literature from Intergas Heating you can fill in the designated form. With this form Intergas Heating processes the personal data as provided in the form. Processing this personal data is required in order to fulfill your request.
Employment application form
When you would like to send in an open application or apply for a specific job mentioned on the website you are required to fill in a form. With this form Intergas Heating processes the personal data as provided in the form.
Intergas Heating requires this personal data to review your application and contact you about your application. Intergas Heating will process the personal data you provide solely for this purpose.
Request training form
When you would like to receive any training from Intergas Heating you are required to fill in a form. With this form Intergas Heating processes the Personal Data as provided with the form.
Intergas Heating requires this personal data to contact you regarding the training and to provide the training services. Intergas Heating will process the personal data you provided solely for this purpose.
Training Evaluation Form
When you would like to give feedback this user is required to fill in a form. With this form Intergas Heating processes your e-mail address and your feedback to evaluate the training.
Who we share your personal information with
The personal data that we acquire via the website will only be shared with the following persons:
- Sub-contractors (including processors as defined in the GDPR) that are used by Intergas Heating to provide the services that are offered via the website and that cannot be performed by Intergas Heating itself.
- Group companies of Intergas Heating.
Intergas Heating has concluded agreements with or will conclude agreements with these third parties that meet the requirements of the GDPR.
We may share your personal information with interested parties in connection with any sale of, or investment in, our business or transfer of any of our assets.
We may share personal information with law enforcement or other authorities if required by applicable law.
Whether information has to be provided by you, and if so why
The provision of contact information is required from you to enable us to communicate with you. Other information (e.g. warranty card information or employment information) is needed for us to enter into (or at your request take steps to enter into) or perform our contract with you or provide the goods or services you require. We will inform you at the point of collecting information from you, whether you are required to provide the information to us.
How long your personal information will be kept
Intergas Heating will keep your personal data relating to your warranty card for up to 15 years as this is the warranty period on certain parts.
Intergas Heating will delete your personal data relating to any request for literature by post after the documentation has been sent to you.
Intergas Heating will typically delete your personal data relating to an employment application form 4 weeks after the application procedure has ended [(unless we decide to employ you or to continue to engage with you and we may retain such information for longer than this period up to the date any legal limitation period ends in relation to the recruitment process)].
Intergas Heating will delete personal data relating to training services as soon as the training services have been provided. However your feedback will be kept [for a reasonable period of time] to improve our training; your email address will be deleted 4 weeks after your feedback is received.
Reasons we can collect and use your personal information
We rely on the following lawful bases to collect and use your personal information:
- In order to enter into and/or perform any contract we have with you (including any contract of employment)
- For our legitimate interests in running our business and in providing any requested services, training and information to you and keeping you informed about our products, their operation and safety and deal with your queries; also in order to consider any job applications you may submit to us. These activities benefit both us and you and are considered to be in both our interests and we only collect and process information necessary for these purposes.
We may also rely on your consent as the lawful basis processing where the law requires us to obtain consent (e.g. certain categories of electronic marketing).
Your rights

- fair processing of information and transparency over how we use your use personal information that this Privacy Notice is already designed to address
- access to your personal information and to certain other supplementary information

- otherwise restrict our processing of your personal information in certain circumstances
- withdraw your consent to our processing where we are relying on consent as the lawful basis for the processing in question

Keeping your personal information secure
We have appropriate security measures in place to prevent personal information from being accidentally lost, or used or accessed in an unauthorised way. We limit access to your personal information to those who have a genuine business need to know it. Those processing your information will do so only in an authorised manner and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
We also have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data security breach. We will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where we are legally required to do so.
How to complain
