Customer Service & Planning Advisor
6-Month fixed term contract
Full time – Kidderminster office
We have some exciting new opportunities available at our head office in Kidderminster, for customer service and planning advisors, to work within our technical and service department. Successful candidates will be responsible for planning engineer’s diaries, booking and planning services, while maintaining an excellent standard of customer service. This role requires reliable and responsive people who can adapt to a fast paced and demanding environment. The ability to listen, empathise and confidently respond is key.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential. We do however need great people! By using your good telephone manner to help customers you will make a difference for them, offering great listening skills and being calm.
Tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Effectively manage engineers planning
- Answering inbound telephone calls and emails from end users and agents, providing support and guidance when required
- Processing payments
- Capturing correct and concise information onto the computer system
- To apply customer service skills to ensure that all customers receive an appropriate supportive service, whilst recognizing that at times some customers may be distressed.
- To adhere to the call escalation procedure to ensure that the appropriate level of service is offered to customers
Ideal knowledge, skills and experience required:
- Excellent communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Sound literacy and numeracy skills
- Good computer skills, including knowledge of: Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work well independently or as a team
- Adapts to change well and views it as an opportunity
- Ability to work under pressure
