The Dynamic Duo is back!
At the end of August we launched the Intergas System Filter and Chemical Pack. This dynamic duo, has everything you need to protect the whole heating system when installing a new boiler. Looking after the health of entire heating system isn’t a ‘nice to have’, it’s an essential part of every boiler installation and our pack makes it easy to clean and maintain the heating system, in accordance with BS 7593:2019 and our Manufacturer’s Instructions. The pack comprises the system filter, made in collaboration with Fernox, and a bottle of Fernox FI Inhibitor and a bottle of Fernox F3 Cleaner. The contents of these handy-sized 265ml bottles fit exactly into the filter’s chamber, so there’s no wasted chemicals, you use exactly what’s needed. Whether the filter is bought as part of the Intergas System Filter and Chemical Pack or on its own, two more years will be added to the boiler’s warranty.
It’s worth re-iterating that a high proportion of boilers that fail in the first year do so because of poor water quality. By initially chemically cleaning, flushing and treating the system and introducing regular testing and re-dosing, the efficiency and life expectancy of most domestic central heating systems can be significantly improved.
