Environmental update from Rheem
Here’s an update on Rheem’s environmental initiative ‘A Greater Degree of Good’.
A key commitment is to achieve zero waste to landfill across all Rheem’s global manufacturing operations by 2025. Implementation is a four step process, with each one building on the next to ensure the goal is achieved in an authentic and environmentally friendly way.
Step 1: REDUCE
First, we will reduce the amount of waste we create in our facilities by efficiently converting raw materials into products.
Step 2: REUSE
Then, we will utilize innovative ways to reuse our manufacturing materials and by-products.
Step 3: RECYCLE
Next, we will recycle waste that we cannot reuse so it can serve as raw material for new products.
Step 4: RECOVER
Finally, we will convert remaining material to energy or compost.
